I took the beagles out to the 'no dogs' park near our house to play. I wanted to practice my panning and slow shutter-speed technique to try to get some motion blur. I usually try to get pictures as sharp as possible but motion blur can sometimes be more powerful. So, here we go. It's hard. I shot a lot of pictures and here are a couple that are decent. To be good, I really need to have the eye in good sharp focus with very little blur. But I couldn't pull it off this time. Still I think they convey a sense of motion much better than the fast shutter speed shots I usually take. These have a shutter speed of 1/250th of a second.

And here's one with a faster shutter speed (1/1000 sec) designed to stop the motion. I think the blurred ones work better.
