So I'm sitting by a pond, waiting for something interesting to happen. Two trumpeters are swimming by pretty close so I focus on them. Nothing great but it's all I saw at the moment. All of a sudden we hear a splash about 20 feet away, I'm busy looking into my viewfinder so I don't see it coming. I look up after hearing the splash to see a bald eagle who just swooped in to attack a fish, straight in front of me, very close, perfectly set up for an amazing shot. But I was looking at the damn trumpeters doing nothing. My bad. Trumpeter doing nothing. I missed a killer shot to get this one?
