I got up early to look for Grizzlies up Pacific Creek. I didn't find any. On the way up there, I drove past Oxbow right before sunrise. There were many dozens of photographers lined up, elbow to elbow on the road, on the shoreline and in the bushes. Traffic jam, no parking on either side of the road, etc. I don't do nature photography for traffic jams and to bump elbows with people as I set up a tripod. [simage=397,800,n,center,]
I did manage to snap this shot from my car (no tripod necessary) and it turned out pretty good. I imagine all those people got some really nice shots but damn, what mayhem...
