My first badger. Saw him running across a field so I decided to select a slow shutter speed (1/60 second) to try to get a nice motion-blurred shot. Out of ten frames, this was the only one where his head is nice and sharp. Turned out great! [simage=997,max,n,center,]
Then he cruised into the sagebrush. It was hard to get a clean shot where there isn't a bunch of grass and brush between us.
He was digging in his den, hence the dirty face.
I'll admit that I missed the shot of the day. He swam across a creek right in front of me. In perfect light. But I wasn't ready and it was over in about three seconds so I missed it. Dumbass.
