What kind of an idiot wakes up before 5am to drive 45 minutes then stand in the zero degree air (that's right, zero, no exaggeration) to hope for a pretty sunrise? Me. Was it worth it this morning? Hmmm, probably not. Here are two shots taken quite a while before sunrise. I got there early to set up and maybe see a bear (I didn't see one). The oxbow is clear of ice and I was hoping for a nice mirror surface. But they are releasing a lot of water from the dam upstream so there is too much flow...
Looks like a fox was up earlier than me.
